As artisanal makers of bespoke swords, we are unable to offer off-the-peg models. However, we do occasionally find ourselves with one-of-a-kind swords available on short notice.
Whether it’s due to a last-minute cancellation, an experimental model that’s good enough to sell, or simply putting together the spare parts knocking around the forge, we want to make sure all our swords find good homes – and great fencing.
Browse the currently available options below, and contact us to enquire about them. You may be able to pick up a classic Balefire design without the wait!
Please note that these swords are sold as seen – if you require significant customisation, please browse our commissions and contact us to discuss ordering a bespoke weapon.
∴ The Tulak Saber ∴
This saber is available now in our Emporium for £1100 plus postage.
This Czech-style hand-and-a-half saber features a hollow pommel, part-filled with antique pewter to fine-tune the balance. The result is a sword that’s eager for the cut without feeling overly blade-heavy. The pommel lines up with tip of the curved blade, giving the sword a direct and immediate presence.
The short handle allows the wielder to switch between single-handed and double-handed usage while the octagonal pommel provides pleasing grip and control when using it as a two-handed sword. The distinctive scrolling quillons provide a wide scope of hand protection when correctly angled.
